Hi all,
For the last few weeks I’ve been deliberating which
charity to raise money for when I run my 1st marathon in October, the
simple answer is after much deliberation I can’t decide, so I’ve decided not to
ask for money, but something else.
Okay your either lost and wondering what the hell I'm going on about or your intrigued and want to keep reading.

There are many descriptions which describe charity,
and the human default is to think someone is going to ask for money, and sometimes
our willingness to give is subconsciously detracted as we may judge where the
money will go.
I hope your still with me…..I’ll get to the point….
Another way to describe charity is “The love of
one's fellow men” and this is it, I don’t want your money, but instead what I want from everyone is one simple Act of
Random Kindness “ARK”
Please respond to this blog with your ARK pledge, it could be anything…
- Say hello to 10 strangers
- Buy a coffee for someone you don’t get on with at work
- Phone a family member and tell them how much they mean to you
- Stop and help someone instead of walking by
- Thank 10 people you’ve been meaning to thank in a long time
- Gather a group of people and pick up litter
- Give a care pack to someone homeless
There are many ideas, the following website has
many more.
Please pledge, Thanks for your time
Andrew
